ProtoPie

@ProtoPie: I do have it set to a custom landscape size, but on device it makes it fit into portrait orientation. Before, I would just turn the phone to landscape and it would change to fill the screen but now it doesn't do that. The only workaround I can see is using the portrait orientation and making the prototype with everything rotated 90 degrees to fake it. Variable and formula in ProtoPie have always been the most powerful but also the most difficult functions to use for users. Actually, it is not difficult to understand the two functions separately, but if you want to apply Component, Formula and Variable together, it does require some practice.

My app needs both portrait and landscape orientation. If I create a new 90 degree rotated scene, all the scenes are changed to be 90 degree rotated. Can we have both kinds of orientation designed with ProtoPie?

I'd like to see this taken a step further so that apps that have both a portrait mode and a landscape mode can be prototyped together, with the prototype responding to a change in orientation. Ideally I would find the most value in prototyping the transition between the two.

Entire app is in landscape orientation, can't test on device without it

@Alec Diaz: As a workaround, use a custom device size and switch the width and height values. Then run the prototype on your device.

@ProtoPie: With the recent update, landscape mode doesn't seem to be working on device. Before, it worked fine. But now when I turn my phone to landscape orientation the prototype doesn't change to landscape. Is this a bug or problem with my phone?

@Alec Diaz: If you noticed a difference, it's probably related to your phone settings. Landscape view is not supported by our current nor previous versions but, as we suggested above, it can be faked by creating Pies with a 'landscape' custom size :)

@ProtoPie: Will you support landscape mode in a future update, or is it too difficult to implement?

*EDIT - ended up just using portrait orientation and rotating everything 90 degrees

@ProtoPie: I know the votes for this request is not the highest one, but it should be repaired. Not everything should be based on the vote.

@Xingyu Liu: We're sorry implementing landscape view is taking longer than you expected. We can confirm our team is actively working on it and we will release the feature as soon as possible. Thank you in advance for your patience.

@ProtoPie: I'm pleased to hear that. I worry just because I didn't see this one is ' in progress' or even 'planned' on your roadmap. That will be ok if you have already begun.

Could really use this. So many apps have a different layout in landscape. Actually surprised this wasn't already a feature.
